Kevin Abing
At 63-years-young, Kevin Abing has seen many of his fellow competitive walkers come and go, and several Wisconsin Competitive Walking events discontinued. Luckily, the Fox Cities Marathon Competitive Walk is still going strong – and so is he. While striving for a first-place finish in his age group during this year’s event, Abing admits his biggest source of motivation isn’t the title or the glory – it’s the personal satisfaction that comes with simply showing up.

Want to learn a little more about the world of competitive race walking before committing to our event? You’re in luck! Race Walk champions and two-time Olympic trial qualifiers, Jordan Crawford and Bricyn Healey, will host this year’s Competitive Race Walking Clinic on May 10 at 10:00 a.m. at the Community First Home Office at 1575 Dresang Way in Neenah, WI.
Learn proper walking techniques, shoe recommendations, race walking rules, and more, directly from the experts! You won’t want to miss this unique opportunity.
