With that in mind, we are planning to implement several COVID-19 Safety Protocols for our 2021 in-person events that focus on social distancing, mask/face coverings and good hand hygiene. These are subject to change as we work with local officials, public health officers and medical partners. For more details, see our 2021 Safety Protocols.

We are still determining how many corrals will be offered in 2021 due to COVID Safety considerations. In past years, to ensure a smooth and safe start for all race participants, the field will be separated into three (3) seeded corrals. We ask that you enter the gate that corresponds to the letter on your race bib (i.e. ‘CORRAL C’). Your corral number is based on the estimated finishing time you provided us on your registration form. Please look for pacing signage and helpful volunteers at the Start Line to assist you in locating and entering the correct corral.  Seeded corrals with the fastest in the front and progressively slower runners/walkers behind will minimize the amount of unnecessary passing during the first few miles and make for a safer and more enjoyable experience and event for everyone. You may start with a slower corral than you have been assigned; however, you cannot start with a faster corral than you have been assigned.

You can elect to pick-up your Marathon packet on race day for a fee of $25 if pre-ordered. If you elect race-day, Will Call Packet Pick-Up on your registration form, you will immediately be charged $25, which cannot be refunded (even if you pick-up your packet at the Health & Wellness Expo prior to race day).

GUARDIAN KIDS FUN RUN PHILOSOPHY:

The Guardian Kids Fun Run feels strongly that exercise should be a healthy part of every child’s life; however, we do not believe that young children should have to deal with the stress and pressure that comes with serious competition.  The Guardian Kids Fun Run is designed so that every child leaves the event feeling like a winner and sporting a medal. We do not award trophies to the fastest children overall, but rather reward and acknowledge each and every child who comes out and participates.

Life is filled with pressure and stress, let’s allow kids to be kids, run and have fun!
