Schools are divided by size of enrollment, and the winners are determined by the number of participants per school:
  • Large Schools – enrollment of 400+
  • Medium Schools – enrollment of 200-399
  • Small Schools – enrollment under 199

Large Schools

1st Place – Freedom Elementary, Freedom = $750.00 

2nd Place – Westside Elementary, Kimberly = $500.00 

3rd Place – Little Chute Elementary, Little Chute = $250.00

Medium Schools

1st Place – Spring Road Elementary, Neenah = $750.00

2nd Place – Edison Elementary, Appleton = $500.00

3rd Place – Taft Elementary, Appleton = $250.00

Small Schools

1st Place – Celebration Lutheran School, Appleton = $750.00

2nd Place – St. John Sacred Heart, Appleton = $500.00

3rd Place – St. Paul Lutheran, Appleton = $250.00

Participation is easy. Create a team for your school. Recruit others to join. Register and compete against schools similar in size in our weekend of events in person. Schools with the highest percentage of student participation in any of our events win and receive money for their school. Your school could win $750, $500 or $250.

All elementary, middle and high schools (public and parochial) in the Fox Cities and surrounding school districts are eligible to participate.

Create a Group/team without registering

To create a group or team without registering:

  1. Create an account with RunSignUp
  2. Choose – School Challenge Teams from the drop down box and click Continue
  3. Enter your Team Name in the box indicated. You can set a password if you’d like, but it is not required
  4. Once your Team is created, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to share with others to sign up
  5. Each person on your team needs to register under your team name
