The Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction is proud to announce it is donating $80,000 from last year’s events to over a dozen local non-profits, running groups, nursing and police/fire education programs and police departments.

“The Community First Fox Cities Marathon weekend of events focuses on community first and foremost. It only makes sense that we would give back to the community that helps make our event possible,” explained race director, Julie Johnson. “As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we commit our proceeds every year back to the community to help create a greater impact for everyone.”

In addition, the Fox Cities Marathon made donations to 11 local high school cross-country teams and $5 from every 5K adult registration in 2022 was donated to the St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, all totaling $14,000.

At this time, the Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction has returned more than $1.1 million to the community. The 32nd annual weekend of events will take place on Sept. 15-17. For more information on the Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction, or how you can get involved and impact your community, visit www.foxcitiesmarathon.org.
