Join us for a free clinic led by Jordan Crawford, 2024 Team USA Olympic qualifier, certified USATF Race Walk Official and three-time ThedaCare Half Marathon Competitive Walk winner.
Date: Saturday, May 16
Time: 10 am – Noon
Location: Community First Credit Union, 1575 Dresang Way, Neenah
At this free clinic, you’ll:
- Learn about & practice race walking technique and form
- Discover walking-specific strength and training exercises to build speed
- Gain an understanding of official race walking rules
- Get tips to choose the right shoes and attire
- Participate in a Q&A Panel with local race walkers and Jordan Crawford
This is an active clinic with live demonstrations and attendee participation. Come prepared to practice techniques and move!

Bring your work team together for some fun, fitness, and friendly competition!
- Build team spirit while promoting workplace wellness
- Each participant chooses their distance (5K, 10K, Half, Full or Relay Marathon)

Top three businesses in each division will be recognized based on employee participation:
- Division 1= More than 1,000 employees
- Division 2 = 501 – 1,000 employees
- Division 3 = 251 – 500 employees
- Division 4 = 250 employees and under

It began in 1991 with the very first Fox Cities Marathon. No one was thinking about legacies—they were simply showing up, lacing up, and having fun.
But year after year, mile after mile, something remarkable happened.
A small group of dedicated runners never missed the start line. Through changing seasons, life milestones, and decades of memories, they kept coming back. Today, they are known as Legacy Runners—a living connection to the heart and history of the race.
MEET LEGACY RUNNER: Stuart Kolb
Stuart’s journey into the world of long-distance running didn’t start in high school or college. Instead, it began with his first professional role as a high school industrial arts teacher in Barneville, Wisconsin, back in 1984.

Event Spotlight: ThedaCare Competitive Walk Half Marathon
With a dedicated start corral and a start time of 7:05am, this is officially a judged race walking competition.
Same scenic course as the half marathon along with full amenities – hydration stations, porta potties and a GU station. Cross over the longest pedestrian bridge in Wisconsin – the 1,600 foot Fox Cities Trestle Trail Bridge.
