Our 1,800+ volunteers are the heart and soul of the Community First Fox Cities Marathon presented by Miron Construction. Thanks to their energy, dedication, and enthusiasm, we’re able to make our weekend of events an amazing experience for all participants and spectators.
With a variety of roles and shifts available Sept. 19-21, 2025, it’s easy to find something that fits your interests and schedule. It’s the dedication from the people in our community that makes us known as one of the most amazingly supportive events for runners and walkers in the entire nation.

Introducing 2025 Medal and Shirt Designs!
We are overFLOWing with excitement to debut this year’s shirts and medals! Inspired by the natural scenery that draws in many of our race participants, the 2025 design is a nod to the beautiful waterfront views awaiting you in the Fox Cities.
This year’s 2025 medal design is inspired by the natural beauty and movement of the Fox River, whose winding waterways connect our course and our communities. At its heart, the medal features teal translucent stained-glass elements, symbolizing the flow of the river and the vibrant energy that surrounds it.
Flowing alongside are textured trails, representing the unique journey every participant undertakes—not just on race day, but in the many miles, moments, and commitments leading up to the start line.
This medal commemorates more than a finish—it celebrates the strength, determination, and spirit poured into every step along the way. It’s a tribute to your journey, and the story you carry across the finish line.

It’s hard to believe we’re almost two months from race weekend! As excitement continues to rise, however, so does the cost of registration. Prices for the Full, Half, Relay events all increase on August 1, so now is an opportune time to register!
Speaking of registration, our Relay Marathon option is a great way to run a fraction of the marathon distance and still earn major bragging rights. With team names like Cirque du Sore Legs, Long Distance Relay-tionships, and Tenacious Turtles—our relay teams are known for bringing a little friendly competition and a lot of FUN. Grab a few friends and join us!

PARTICIPANT SPOTLIGHT
Do You Believe in Ghosts?
We do! In fact, there’s one in particular we’ll be watching out for this year.
Superintendent Mike Slowinski will represent the Kaukauna Area School District (KASD) “Galloping Ghosts” alongside colleagues as part of the Amcor Healthy Business Challenge. An avid half-marathoner, he’s taking on a challenge he hasn’t faced in nearly two decades—the full 26.2-mile marathon. Despite putting himself to the test, Slowinski says he’s excited because he knows what to expect on the course—including a haunting of fellow ghosts.

MY TEAM TRIUMPH
Angels Among Us
Having myTEAM TRIUMPH join the Fox Cities Marathon is one of the highlights of our annual race weekend. The nonprofit organization—dedicated to building inclusive communities through the power of endurance athletics—pairs athletes with disabilities (referred to as Captains) with able-bodied athletes (Angels) to race together as a team. Watching these pairs cross the finish and witnessing their shared accomplishment is truly remarkable.
