The Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction announces plans to hold its 30th annual weekend of events on Sept. 17-19, 2021, with in-person and virtual events. The Fox Cities Marathon will implement COVID-19 safety protocols for the in-person event and will introduce a capacity cap for participation.
The Fox Cities Marathon is excited to announce a new Home Edition Virtual Experience for those who still want to participate but are not ready to race in-person or their event has met its cap already. Registration for the virtual events will open soon.
“We continue to work with our local medical experts, municipalities, sponsors, volunteers and participants to determine how to best deliver a supportive and safe running experience,” said Tara Perre, race director for the Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction. “We are thrilled to be moving forward with in-person events as well as offering new virtual options for our races. We are committed to providing the same hometown spirit and community support for all our events while keeping safety a top priority.”
Organizers encourage participants to register early as event caps will be implemented to safely manage the number of people gathering at any one time. To register for the events, visit foxcitiesmarathon.org/registration/.
