The Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction weekend of events is approaching and the race events are filling up quickly. Volunteers are needed and encouraged to sign up.
More than 2,300 volunteers are needed to make the Fox Cities Marathon weekend of events happen. From intersections to water stations to the finish line, volunteers play a vital role in helping every participant complete each race. Whether at Friday’s Guardian Kids Fun Run and Huggies Diaper Dash & Toddler Trot, Saturday’s Ascension Medical Group 5K or Sunday’s events, there are many opportunities to get involved. Volunteer positions are as varied as the people who fill them and can take place at different activity levels, indoors or outside, and alone or in a group. Volunteers can sign up for any single day or every day of race weekend – whichever they prefer.
All volunteers will receive a T-shirt, an invitation to a special volunteer party, chances to win prizes and an experience they won’t forget.
Each year, nominations are accepted for the Bret Younger Volunteer of the Year Award. To learn more about the award, go to http://www.foxcitiesmarathon.org/volunteer.html.
