APPLETON, Wis. (Dec. 20, 2017) – The Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction will be donating $65,000 in race proceeds to a total of 29 northeast Wisconsin nonprofit groups, police departments and area cross-country teams, just in time for the holiday season.
“During this season of giving, we’re honored to donate our race profits to area nonprofit organizations who are making a difference in our community,” Jesse Drake, executive race director for the Fox Cities Marathon, said. “Our communities are an important part of making our weekend of events special. Every step our participants take not only brings them closer to their goals, but also helps our communities become stronger by making these contributions possible.”

Eleven high school cross country teams also benefited including Appleton East, Appleton North, Appleton West, Fox Valley Lutheran, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Little Chute, Menasha, Neenah, St. Mary Central and Xavier.
